Who we are

[COMPANY_NAME] operates ClipSKU. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and who we share it with.

Data we collect

Account data: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.

Content: the product photos you upload, the descriptions you write, and the videos we generate for you.

Billing data: your purchases and credit history. Card details are collected by Waffo, our payment provider. We do not see or store them.

Usage data: pages you visit and actions you take (for example, starting a generation), plus technical data such as browser type and error reports. We do not include your email or your descriptions in this data.

How we use it

To sign you in, generate and store your videos, keep your credit balance, process purchases and refunds, prevent abuse, fix errors and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your uploads to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run ClipSKU. Each one receives only the data it needs:

Vercel (hosting) · Neon (database) · Cloudflare R2 (file storage) · fal.ai (video generation: your photo and description) · Waffo (payments, Merchant of Record) · Resend (sign-in emails) · Google (optional sign-in) · PostHog (product analytics) · Sentry (error monitoring).

We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember your language. Your theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage.

Analytics: PostHog sets analytics cookies and receives usage events from your browser only after you accept the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no events are sent from your browser. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

If you are signed in, we also save your choice in your account. Only if you accepted, our servers send account events to PostHog: sign-up, completed purchases and generation results. These events use your internal account ID, not your email, and never include your descriptions.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data, content and videos while your account is open. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

After you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within [RETENTION_PERIOD], except records we must keep by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Send requests to [SUPPORT_EMAIL].

Where data is stored

Our servers and most of our providers are in the United States. If you live elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
